Katie Frank

Katie Frank is an artist who uses ceramics to work with form, design, installation, and environment. Her work has traveled within the United States and abroad to Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Israel, Iran, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan. She completed her Masters in Fine Arts at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California in 1998 working with Viola Frey and Arthur Gonzalez. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Magna cum Laude and her Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana working with Jeremy Jernegan and Jacqueline Bishop.

She has been awarded Art Residencies and worked in Italy and Greece. Katie is a full-time tenured Professor of Art at Ohlone College in Fremont, California. She began teaching full time in 2001. She teaches a wide range of classes from 3-D Design, Ceramics, Art Appreciation and Site Specific Art.
